Yadadri power project will bring laurels to entire country: KCR

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said on Monday that the projects such as the prestigious Yadadri Ultra Mega Thermal Power Project with a capacity of 4,000 MW, taken up by the Telangana government, will bring laurels to the entire country.

He said in the interest of the welfare of the farmers and Telangana people, projects like the Yadadri Thermal Power Project are undertaken in the public sector without succumbing to pressure from corporate people.

The chief minister inspected the works of the power plant which is under construction near Veerlapalem at Damaracharla mandal of Nalgonda district.
