
Yadadri encore: KCR plans ₹1k cr revamp of Kondagattu temple
Hyderabad : After Yadadri temple revamp, chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced Wednesday a Rs 1,000-crore plan to renovate the Kondagattu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman in Jagtial, 200km from Hyderabad, that draws thousands of devotees in the belief that praying there heals the sick and answers wishes of childless couples.
KCR visited Kondagattu temple on Wednesday and said Rs 500 crore of total amount will be sanctioned next fiscal. This corpus is over and above Rs 100 crore, already sanctioned a few days ago.
Also known as Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy, the temple surrounded by hills is popular with celebs and politicians.
