West Indies vs India | Watch: Rohit Sharma and other Indian stars land in Trinidad for five-match series

The Indian contingent, led by captain Rohit Sharma, has landed in Trinidad for the upcoming T20I series against West Indies on Tuesday.

Sharma will be returning to lead the side after he was rested for the ongoing ODI series against the hosts. Shikhar Dhawan captained the side in the 35-year-old's absence.

India will be facing the hosts in five matches which will begin on Friday, 29th July. The last two games of the series between the two teams will be played in Florida.

The Indian squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series is as follows:

India’s T20I squad: Rohit Sharma (c), Ishan Kishan, KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravi Bishnoi.

For the likes of Ashwin and Kuldeep, it is a welcome return to the squad. Both Indian spinners had a fantastic IPL with the Chinaman bowler picking up 21 wickets in his maiden season for Delhi Capitals. Ashwin, on the other hand, was instrumental in Rajasthan Royals' run to the final and played a few crucial knocks with the bat.

Players like Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda and Axar Patel are already part of the Indian ODI team that clinched the series against the West Indies.

The final match of the series will be played on Wednesday, 27th July.
