Release date locked for Samantha’s Shaakuntalam

Talented beauty Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who scored a massive hit with Yashoda, is back to continue the success spree with her next outing, Shaakuntalam. The epic mythological drama, helmed by Gunasekhar, has locked its release date.

As promised, the makers of the biggie have officially revealed the release date of Shaakuntalam. The pan-Indian movie is all set to open in theaters on February 17, 2023. So, the female-centric movie is going to clash with Dhanush’s Sir, Vishwaksen’s Dhamki, and Kiran Abbavaram’s Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha at the box office.

Shaakuntalam also stars Dev Mohan, Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Gautami, Aditi Balan, and Ananya Nagalla in prominent roles. Neelima Guna under Gunaa Teamworks bankrolled this film, which has Manisharma’s music. Besides 2D, the mythological drama is also confirmed to release in 3D version.
