KCR to hold session to ‘expose’ Centre

Hyderabad : Continuing with his tirade against the Centre, chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to hold a weeklong assembly session in December to ‘expose’ the Centre on failed assurances, grants and budgetary proposals.

While the dates for the assembly session will be finalised soon, KCR has directed finance minister T Harish Rao and legislative affairs minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy to make arrangements to hold it for a week.

During his briefing with senior officials, KCR is believed to have said: “The attitude of the Centre is not only detrimental to the interests of Telangana but the entire country. ”

Senior finance officials said the state was supposed to get Rs 40,000 crore in financial year 2022-23 from the Centre by way of Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (FRMB) rules.
