PM takes swipe at KCR: They only want family to do well… be wary
AMID the deepening stand-off between the ruling party and the Opposition after a washed-out House session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated corruption and dynasty as the two key planks of his attack Saturday.
Addressing a massive public meeting at Telangana’s Parade Grounds, the PM took a swipe at the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, suggesting that the CM had put his family above the needs of the state.
“I request the BRS government to not create hurdles in the development works planned by the Centre for the people of Telangana. The state does not cooperate in implementing Centre’s policies and schemes. Central projects in Telangana are getting delayed. A few people are afraid of development. They only want their family to do well and Telangana should be wary of these people,” Modi said.
