Bandi: TRS govt to blame for PFI expansion in state

Hyderabad : BJP Telangana chief Bandi Sanjay on Wednesday held the TRS government responsible for expansion of Popular Front of India (PFI) footprint in the state with the support of All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen. He also claimed PFI was conspiring to convert India into an Islamic nation by 2040.

Addressing people at Nagole Crossroads after completing his 100-day Praja Sangrama Yatra, Sanjay alleged that PFI activists, known for violence in other parts of the country, were planning to create terror in Telangana through bomb blasts.

“The PFI, a banned organization throughout the country, operates with the blessings of AIMIM leaders and the TRS government is responsible for its expansion. Some TRS leaders support PFI by donating funds to it,” he alleged

Sanjay wanted to know why Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was not doing anything untilthe National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided PFI activists, masquerading as gym instructors and volunteer organizations.
The Karimanagar MP claimed that if given an opportunity to rule the state, BJP would make efforts to weed out outfits such as PFI.

Stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sanctioned construction of 2. 4 lakh houses for Telangana, he said that the chief minister was not interested. “Even though the people voted for TRS, local MLAs have not built a single house. ” “KCR only talks about pensions, ration cards, and double bedroom houses during the election season,” he said. The BJP chief said when floods submerged hundreds of houses in various areas of Hyderabad, the government did nothing. “During the GHMC elections, the CM had promised to pay ₹10,000 to the affected houses, but only a few TRS leaders got the benefit,” Sanjay added.
