Country made 'Jhoot Nirbhar' Bharat: Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao

HYDERABAD: Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday played video clips of speeches of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused him of telling lies to the nation.

"The BJP has turned the country into 'Jhoot Nirbhar' Bharat. Right from BJP state president Bandi Sanjay to the Prime Minister, everyone in the saffron party indulges in campaign of lies against their political opponents on social media and other platforms," KCR said.

Recalling Modi's speech when he launched Mission Bhagiratha project in 2016, KCR said Modi had lied that electricity was being given at 1.1 per unit by his government to states. Slamming Bandi Sanjay for his lies against TRS and KCR, Telangana CM demanded an apology to the people. "We don't take BJP seriously at all in Telangana," KCR said. He asked Sanjay and union minister G Kishan Reddy to explain why allocations in various sectors were reduced in the Union Budget 2022-23 by crores.
