Bandi: Good TRS schemes will continue if BJP assumes power

Hyderabad : At a time when the TRS government is accusing the BJPled central government of being anti-poor and shutting down welfare measures, BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday said that all TRS an d Congress welfare schemes will be implemented and expanded once BJP forms the government in Telangana.

Addressing a public meeting on the outskirts of the city to conclude the fourth phase of his ‘Praja Sangrama Padayatra’, Sanjay said: “TRS leaders are making false allegations that the BJP government is mandating fixing meters for agricultural use and will halt all welfare schemes. We are not insane to do such things. In fact, we will implement and expand on the good work and schemes of previous governments. ”

In response to AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s co mments that his padayatra was not receiving a positive public response, he said: “Owaisi does not see anything beyond TRS activists, PFI activists and those involved in bomb blasts. We made sure that the national flag was unveiled by them as well. ”

Challenging both chief minister K ChandrasekharRao and Owaisi, Sanjay said, “I am inviting both of them to come at any time that is convenien t for them and we will show our strength. ”

Sanjay announced that the fifth phase of his yatra will be launched on October 15.

“I urge all the party cadre to make it a success and work hard for one mo re year to unseat the TRS government,” he said.
